Vineyard De Grendel Wines
De Grendel is synonymous with first-class quality. This well-established wine farm is home not only to vines but also to Holstein livestock, sheep and grain.
It was the owner, Sir David Graaff's insight that breathed new life into the already established farm and in just a few years De Grendel's grape varieties had made a name for themselves as key players in the South African wine industry with a considerable number of awards.
Charles Hopkins is De Grendel's renowned winemaker, one of the most respected wine producers both in South Africa and internationally. His list of prizes and awards includes numerous double gold medals at the prestigious Veritas Awards.
