Two wines as ambassadors of togetherness.
Even more than the entirety of our exceptionally wide range of wines from South Africa, we see these two wines as the perfect link between our passion for the people and wines of the Cape on the one hand and you on the other. They are our attempt to give a little back to children in the country that we love so much and that spoils us so much.
Both the Sauvignon Blanc and the Shiraz are carefully handcrafted here in the oldest of the new wine countries. Both wines are also messages from our hearts to you: savour them with heart and soul.

The wines are made by Rikus Neethling and Boets Nel, two experienced winemakers and long-time friends. Their commitment to our favourite project goes far beyond the production of the wine.
Heart & Soul - Shiraz
Rikus is the founder of Bizoe Wines. It was an excellent Shiraz that brought us together. The name of the winery - the French word for kiss - was already a sign of a special partnership that was simply meant to be.
TASTING NOTES
The epitome of finesse: Flavours of blackcurrant and mulberry unfold in this wine, carried by well-integrated tannins shaped by French oak. Enjoy now or reward with careful ageing for up to 10 years.
Heart & Soul - Sauvignon Blanc
Boets is the owner of De Krans, an award-winning winery with a long history. Boets' human warmth and his expertise in Sauvignon Blanc make him the perfect partner for us with heart and soul.
TASTING NOTES
Expect a harmony of green peppers, freshly cut grass, with notes of fruit salad and a mineral finish. Like love, balance and longevity are its hallmarks.
The beginning of a new start
With every bottle of Heart & Soul you buy, you donate €0.50 to our association Lebenslinien e.V. and its small bakery in Cape Town, which provides for children in need in the region. With each bottle you finance one muffin per day for a whole week.
Our Magic Muffins are named after the vitamins, minerals and moringa added to the recipe. They were developed by a food technologist as a filling, child-friendly and healthy snack. Co-financed by wine sales, they are distributed to hungry children and senior citizens.
The current production in our bakery at a primary school near Cape Town is around 9,000 Magic Muffins per week. In total, we have now been able to distribute more than three million of these small units of happiness to mostly children and thus improve their nutritional status at least a little.
