The Diemersdal The Journal Pinotage captivates with its exquisite combination of vibrant berry fruit, complemented by exotic spices and hints of dark chocolate. On the palate, it reveals an exceptional complexity, underscored by velvety tannins that ensure a lengthy, pleasurable finish. This wine is a true expression of Diemersdal's terroir, reflecting the passion of generations of winemakers.
Die kleinen und aromatischen Beeren für diesen umwerfenden Pinotage sorgen für eine hervorragende Struktur, bemerkenswerte Eleganz und Raffinesse. Das Traubengut wurde gequetscht und in offenen Fermentern aus französischem Eichenholz und bei einer Füllmenge von 1000 Litern und geregelten 25° - 28° C vergoren. Die malolaktische Gärung fand ihren Abschluss in älteren französischen Barriques, wonach der Wein 22 Monate lang in 100 % neuen französischen Eichenholzfässern (225 l) reifte, bevor er zum fertigen Genuss auf die Flasche gefüllt wurde.
