The Diemersdal The Journal Pinotage captivates with its exquisite combination of vibrant berry fruit, complemented by exotic spices and hints of dark chocolate. Treatment in the cellar
The small, aromatic berries used to make this stunning Pinotage give it excellent structure, remarkable elegance and sophistication. The grapes were crushed and fermented in open French oak vats with a capacity of 1,000 litres at a controlled temperature of 25° - 28° C. Malolactic fermentation was completed in older French barriques, after which the wine matured for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels (225 litres) before being bottled for enjoyment.
