Information about "Beyerskloof Traildust Cape Blend 2022"
Pouring a rich ruby hue, the Beyerskloof Traildust Cape Blend captivates with its bouquet of succulent red fruits and ripe cherries, beautifully enhanced by a whisper of sweet oak spice. On the palate, it unfolds luscious and generous layers of sweet fruit, juicy cherries, and luscious plums. This balanced and harmonious red wine is characterized by a juicy core and soft, rounded tannins.
Traildust serves as a tribute to all those involved in the journey of South Africa's native grape, Pinotage—an homage to the legacy of this distinctive varietal, combined here with its heritage grapes, Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. This blend comprises 43% Pinotage, 29% Pinot Noir, and 28% Cinsaut, with the vineyards aged 26 years (Cinsaut), 21 years (Pinotage), and 11 years (Pinot Noir).
