The Beyerskloof Pinotage Reserve 2023 captivates with its deep dark red color and vibrant ruby rim, releasing an enticing bouquet of ripe blackberries and plums, enriched with sweet cedar undertones. On the palate, delightful notes of dark fruits and plums embrace the senses, seamlessly blending with fragrant hints of cedar. This wine features a commendable structure, impeccable balance, and an enduring, juicy finish that lingers delightfully.
Fermented in open tanks for four days with regular manual 'punch downs' at temperatures between 25°C and 27°C. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, the wine aged for 14 months in French barriques, consisting of 10% new oak and 90% second-fill barrels.
