Vineyard Babylonstoren
The estate of Babylonstoren near Paarl dates back to the 17th century, making it one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms and was used as an orchard until ten years ago.
Today, together with oenologist Charl Coetzee and the rest of the winery team, Babylonstorens' 51 hectares of vineyards produce great wines of the highest quality. The complex range of Babylonstorens award-winning wines includes a Chenin Blanc, Viognier, and Mourvédre Rosé, with a Bordeaux-style blend, as well as the flagship wines Chardonnay and Shiraz.
Babylonstoren has already made it into the top 100 list of "Condé Nast Traveller" and "Tatler's" 101 best hotels in the world, and the "Babel" has been nominated for the top 20 Eat Out South African restaurants.
