The Babylonstoren Babel Red represents a striking blend of Bordeaux grapes, faithfully reflecting the terroir of its origins. With its deep garnet color, this wine reveals an alluring bouquet of sweet tobacco, fragrant pencil shavings, juicy dark plums, mulberries, and cherries. The palate is seduced by rich flavors of ripe red berries intertwined with delicate hints of fine chocolate. The finish is prolonged, pleasantly peppery, and smooth, making it an outstanding match for hearty dishes.
Das Traubengut wurde separat gelesen und sieben Tage lang auf der Haut fermentiert, mit anschließend ausgedehnter Quellphase von einer Woche. Der Most wurde in 30% Neuholz und 70% zweit- und drittbefüllte Fässer gepresst, wo die malolaktische Fermentierung ihren Abschluss fand. Die unterschiedlichen Sorten reiften 12 Monate lang separat in erst- sowie zweitbefüllten französischen Barriques, bevor sie miteinander verschnitten wurden.
