The Alvi's Drift Signature Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 is characterized by its vibrant ruby hue and a tempting bouquet of ripe blackberries and cherries, accented with delicate hints of vanilla, chocolate, and mint. Its robust palate is complemented by well-integrated tannins, resulting in a full-bodied and persistent mouthfeel. Winemaker Linley Schultz has propelled Alvi's Drift into the spotlight, allowing it to flourish within the premium wine landscape of the Cape.
All grapes are sourced from our estate, handpicked at optimal ripeness. Fermentation occurred on the skins in open stainless steel tanks, with regular manual cap management. Following fermentation, the wine aged for eight months on oak chips.
