The AA Badenhorst Secateurs Rosé presents a unique character derived from old bush vines situated in Swartland. This blend of Cinsault, Grenache Noir, and Shiraz offers a captivating pink hue, featuring layered aromas of red fruits, refreshing watermelon, vibrant lime, delightful spices, and floral rosewater. Richly textured on the palate, it culminates in a prolonged, crisp finish.
Mourvèdre grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning, gently pressed whole to minimize color extraction. After a brief two-hour skin contact, they are pressed, and the juice is pumped into stainless steel and concrete tanks for natural fermentation. The wine is lightly fined and coarsely filtered prior to bottling.
