Information about "Zevenwacht The Tin Mine Red 2023"

The Zevenwacht The Tin Mine Red showcases a captivating deep violet-red color, revealing an enticing aromatic profile of smoky cranberry, succulent spiced cherry, raspberry, and a touch of pepper. Its palate boasts remarkable density, featuring silky, persistent tannins. This intricate wine is superbly balanced by well-integrated acidity, culminating in a long-lasting finish that tantalizes the senses.

Treatment in the cellar

The varieties in this blend were fermented temperature-controlled at 26°C to 28°C in open stainless steel tanks, with regular surface punch-downs to extract the wine's intense color and soft tannins. After fermentation, the wine was pressed and transferred to second-, third-, and fourth-fill French oak barrels, where the varieties matured for 12-16 months before being blended and bottled as a finished cuvée.
