Für diese köstlich dunkle Cuvée werden die Rebsorten Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Souzão und Touriga Francesa als Cuvée gekeltert, um sicherzustellen, dass die verführerischen Aromen wie Maulbeeren, Waldbeeren, Kräuter sowie Gewürze wie Zimt und Pfeffer erhalten bleiben. Ein großer Wein, dieser Thistle and Weed Nastergal Red Blend ideal für große Momente.
Die Schwarze Nachtschattenpflanze oder „Nastergal“ ist ein Unkraut, das sehr reife, dunkelviolette Beeren hervorbringt, die von Hand gepflückt und in der lokalen Küche verwendet werden.
Die Trauben Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Souzão und Touriga Francesa werden separat vinifiziert und in offenen Gärbehältern vergoren.
Nach einer schonenden Pressung reift der Wein acht Monate lang in älteren Fässern.
