The Saxenburg Guinea Fowl Red 2023 mesmerizes with a bouquet of ripe mulberries, fresh raspberries, and blackcurrants, accented by delicate hints of vanilla, spices, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it showcases exceptional balance and purity, leading to a clean finish. This blend consists of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Malbec, and 18% Cabernet Franc. Best enjoyed slightly chilled, this versatile wine is perfect for pairing with a range of dishes or savoring on its own.
Carefully selected, fully ripe grapes underwent fermentation in open tanks at a constant temperature of 28°C. Pumped over four times daily for two weeks, the grapes were then gently pressed after fermentation, followed by natural malolactic fermentation in tank before being transferred to barrels for 12 months.

sehr fruchtbetonter Wein
Der Saxenburg Guinea Fowl Red ist ein sehr fruchtbetonter Wein, wobei der Geschmack nach Johannisbeeren im Vordergrund steht. Trotzdem recht ausgewogen mit leichten Eichenholznoten.

Für anspruchsvolle Genießer
Man schmeckt sofort, dass hier Leidenschaft eingeflossen ist. Noch nie hatte ich einen Rotwein, bei welchem die schwarze Johannisbeere so markant zum Vorschein kam. Wirklich einen Versuch Wert und findet seine Liebhaber. Für feinen Gaumen zu kantig und etwas zu wenig gefällig.
