The Rall Grenache Blanc 2024 is a remarkable wine hailing from the elevated region of Piekenierskloof, where the vines grow at 620 meters. Fermented in concrete eggs, this exceptional Grenache Blanc showcases intricate aromas of citrus fruit, pear, orange zest, and herbs. On the palate, it reveals a firm structure with savory undertones, culminating in a well-defined and spiced finish. As the seventh vintage, it continues to express the unique character of its terroir.
The grapes were whole-bunch pressed and transferred to clay amphorae and concrete eggs for fermentation without settling. After eight months on the lees and bottling with minimal filtration, this special wine reveals a unique texture. Sourced from high-altitude bush vines planted in 1989 on the slopes of Piekenierskloof.
