The Muratie Melck's Red is an exquisite blend of Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This red wine showcases a smooth, approachable style enriched by a sophisticated, ripe tannin structure. Aromas of sweet berries, dark chocolate, and inviting spices greet you, leading to a palate bursting with vibrant black fruit, plum compote, and subtle clove hints. The grapes for this red wine were meticulously handpicked and fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and traditional open fermentation vessels. Following fermentation, the wine matured for 18 months in second- and third-fill French oak barrels.
