The grapes for this Syrah are sourced from a distinguished single vineyard block, where 17-year-old vines flourish on the stony schist soils of the Kasteelberg, truly embodying its remarkable terroir.

Die Gärung began mit natürlicher / wilder Hefe und dauerte etwa zehn Tage. Weitere vier Wochen Hautkontakt und 12 Monate Reifung in 500L Fässer ( 25% Neuholz) gefolgt von neun Monaten in zweitbefüllten Foudres.
