The name Mulderbosch stands for a sustainable winery with selected growers – and for an approach that combines its own vineyards with fruit from carefully chosen partners who share the same natural and sustainable philosophy. Under the leadership of winemaker Adam Mason, an outstanding portfolio of handcrafted wines is created, enjoying strong national and international recognition. The majority of the grapes come from the estate’s own vineyards, whose diverse soils range from Malmesbury shale and Table Mountain sandstone to sand duplex and decomposed granite. Meticulous hand-harvesting, modern viticultural practices such as vertical shoot positioning, and the cooling afternoon breezes from nearby False Bay ensure slow ripening, balanced acidity, and precise, intense aromatics. Most wines are certified as Wine of Origin Stellenbosch and reflect the essence of their place of origin at the highest level – pure, characterful, and distinctive.
