The Morgenster Cabernet Franc shines with a deep ruby color and youthful violet reflections, unveiling a bouquet rich in berry fruits, cherries, freshly tilled earth, and delightful cloves. The palate reveals a complex and silky texture, accentuated by notes of ripe berries and spices. Its smooth, velvety tannins combined with a fruit-forward youthful character provide a wonderfully balanced experience that delights.
The hand-picked grapes were transported to the winery in the early morning, where they were cooled overnight, then lightly crushed the next morning into stainless steel tanks. During the seven-day alcoholic fermentation, the tanks were gently warmed for optimal fermentation conditions, and the cap was submerged twice daily to extract maximum color and tannin. After the completion of both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in tank, the wine was aged for 12 months in third- and fourth-fill barrels.
