The estate, breezed by the cool winds of False Bay, produces exquisite wines, notably the Meerlust Cabernet Sauvignon 2022. This vintage captivates with its deep violet color, lightly graduated at the rim. Aromas of blueberry, plum, classic cedar wood, and dark chocolate emerge, interwoven with delicate hints of blackberries. The unmistakable terroir notes of mint and salted licorice shine through. On the palate, it offers a full-bodied experience, abundant in fruit with silky tannins.

Das handgelesene Traubengut für den Meerlust Cabernet Sauvignon wurde nach traditionellem Verfahren vinifiziert, wobei lediglich der freiablaufende Saft verwendet wurde. Der Wein reifte 12 Monate in französischen Nevers-Eichenfässern. 70% der Fässer bestanden aus Neuholz, die restlichen 40% aus zweitbefülltem Holz.
