The Longridge Organic Chenin Blanc 2024 is a certified organic wine that delights the senses with vibrant aromas of ripe guava, pineapple, kiwi, green apple, and a subtle touch of strawberry. Its refreshing acidity is complemented by fine minerality, culminating in a prolonged finish that lingers enticingly on the palate.
Meticulously tended, the grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards where yields are intentionally limited to ensure peak quality. With no pesticides, herbicides, or chemical treatments used, this wine represents a commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices, derived entirely from estate-grown fruit.
The handpicked grapes were whole-bunch pressed upon arrival at the winery, and the resulting juice underwent natural fermentation, without the addition of enzymes or commercial yeast, for 10-14 days in French oak barrels. Natural yeast was regularly stirred to maximize concentration. The wine matured for 12 months in a combination of 90% French and Hungarian barrique and 10% in concrete, bottling without prior stabilization or filtration.
