Information about "Le Riche Richesse 2022"
Le Riche Richesse is a beautifully balanced red blend, composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cinsault, and 10% Cabernet Franc. The bouquet reveals tantalizing notes of cherries, strawberries, and pomegranate, complemented by a delicate hint of violet. A crisp entry transitions into a medley of red berry flavors, underscored by subtle spices and a touch of fine oak. On the palate, the wine is taut yet wonderfully juicy, with a lush finish that accentuates its fruity essence.
Treatment in the cellar
The wines were fermented separately by grape variety to the desired dryness in traditional open concrete tanks, with the cap of skins regularly submerged manually. After primary and secondary fermentation in the tank was complete, the wines were transferred to French oak barrels. After a year of ageing in barriques, the wines were blended and then aged for a further eight months in 225-litre barrels and 4500-litre oak barrels. No fining took place.
