The Landskroon Paul de Villiers Cabernet Sauvignon enchants with its vibrant ruby red color and an aromatic profile rich in earthy tones, sun-drenched mulberries, and luscious blackcurrants, harmonizing with gentle vanilla nuances. These delightful aromas are echoed on the palate, yielding a rich and satisfying taste experience. The long finish presents a spicy yet smooth character that lingers delightfully.
Five generations of dedicated winemakers have established Landskroon as a distinguished brand in Paarl. Current cellar master Paul de Villiers proudly carries this legacy forward as the fifth generation of his family.
Das sorgfältig auserlesene Traubengut wurde komplett entrappt, mit ausgewählten Hefen versetzt und temperaturgeregelt auf der Haut in Tanks aus Edelstahl vergoren. Das regelmäßige Untertauchen des Tresterhuts sorgte für eine ausgedehnte Extraktion von Farbe und Tannin. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 16 Monate lang in einer Kombination aus 70% französischen sowie 30% amerikanischen Eichenholzfässern, von denen 63% Neuholz und 37% zweitbelegtes Holz ausmachten.
