The Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection Chenin Blanc 2025 captivates with a multifaceted aroma featuring tropical fruit nuances, elegantly complemented by notes of ripe peach and a touch of roasted almonds. Its lively structure is underpinned by fine minerality, leading to a creamy finish that embodies the classic dry style. Crafted with care, this Chenin Blanc can age gracefully over the next five years, revealing greater depth and character over time.
Die Trauben wurden frühmorgens von Hand gelesen und bei Ankunft in der Kellerei umgehend in Edelstahltanks gefüllt. Es folgte ein ausgedehnter Kontakt auf der Haut (24 Stunden), um ein Maximum an Aromen und Nuancen im Wein zu erhalten. Der Saft wurde für den Fermentierungsprozess in Fässer und erstmals auch in Amphoren gefüllt. Hierbei kam kein Neuholz zum Einsatz, um sicherzustellen, dass die unverkennbaren Merkmale der spezifischen Terroirs im Wein konserviert bleiben. Nach Abschluss der Gärung wurde der Wein sieben Monate lang auf der Primärhefe ausgebaut, bevor er auf die Flasche gefüllt wurde.
