The Keermont 4 Barrels Rosé 2025 presents a refined character, derived from handpicked Mourvèdre grapes cultivated on the sunny, steep slopes of Helderberg. Its delicate, pale pink hue evokes memories of onion skins. The nose is greeted with lively aromas of strawberries, lychees, and juicy pears, complemented by a hint of herbs. On the palate, this Rosé exhibits a fine structure, balanced with refreshing acidity and subtle mineral qualities, leading to an elegant, lingering finish.
Best enjoyed now, yet it possesses the potential to gracefully age for over five years. Only four barrels of this exceptional Mourvèdre Rosé were crafted!
Harvested early for freshness, the grapes spent an hour on skins for optimal color extraction. Fermented in seasoned French oak barrels, aged for six months before bottling. A total of 1,100 bottles and 50 magnums produced.
