The Keermont 4 Barrels Rosé 2025 presents a refined character, derived from handpicked Mourvèdre grapes cultivated on the sunny, steep slopes of Helderberg. Its delicate, pale pink hue evokes memories of onion skins. The nose is greeted with lively aromas of strawberries, lychees, and juicy pears, complemented by a hint of herbs. On the palate, this Rosé exhibits a fine structure, balanced with refreshing acidity and subtle mineral qualities, leading to an elegant, lingering finish.
Best enjoyed now, yet it possesses the potential to gracefully age for over five years. Only four barrels of this exceptional Mourvèdre Rosé were crafted!
Die Trauben wurden frühzeitig geerntet (bevor sie zu reif waren), um Frische im Wein zu bewahren. Sie blieben etwa eine Stunde auf den Schalen, um die richtige Menge an Farbe zu extrahieren, bevor es in die Korbpresse ging. Der Most wurde in zuvor belegten französischen Eichenfässern vergoren und für etwa 6 Monate abgesetzt, bevor er von Hand abgefüllt wurde. Insgesamt wurden 1156 Flaschen und 50 Magnums produziert.
