The Fairview Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 offers classic notes of blackberries and red fruits, beautifully melded with hints of oak and cigar box aromas. This wine presents a vibrant deep red color in the glass. On the palate, sweet vanilla intertwines with ripe plums and earthy nuances, creating a firm yet subtle tannin structure alongside well-integrated acidity. The finish is profound, dry, and refined, rounding off this sophisticated tasting experience!
Die Trauben für diesen Wein stammen aus der berühmten Stellenbosch-Weinregion, wurden per Hand gelesen und für eine ausgedehnte Mazeration auf der Haut gelassen. 50% des Weins wurde in offenen Gärungsbottichen fermentiert, die andere Hälfte in Edelstahltanks. Die verschiedenen Komponenten der Cuvée wurden nach der malolaktischen Fermentierung von 18 Monaten verschnitten und anschließend in französischer und amerikanischer Eiche gereift, wobei 20% Neuholz zum Einsatz kam.
