The Driehoek Syrah captivates with a mesmerizing bouquet of luscious red cherries, plum, fresh rhubarb, and dark chocolate. On the palate, exquisite nuances of delicate spices and wild herbs meld seamlessly with well-integrated notes of French oak. Its smooth, ripe tannins provide a luxurious mouthfeel, creating a Syrah of undeniable elegance.
Following a seven-day fermentation and 14 days of skin contact, malolactic fermentation concluded in new French barrels. The wine aged for 15 months in French barriques, with 31% new wood and the remainder in previously used barrels.
