The Springfield Life from Stone 2025 is a true representative of South Africa's finest Sauvignon Blancs. Its bright straw color reveals unmistakable notes of peppery flint coupled with subtle hints of ripe Cape gooseberries and passion fruit. This wine showcases an intense freshness, bone-dry structure, and perfectly balanced acidity. A remarkably long finish leaves an elegant impression with mineral undertones to savor.
The wine derives its name from the extraordinarily rocky soils it grows in. Each year, the winery battles nature to produce highly concentrated, powerful wines that retain their flinty and mineral character. Planting these vines required monumental effort; old equipment was often rendered useless, and dynamite was even used for the older vineyards. This wine genuinely reflects the terroir of this exceptional site.
The grapes were harvested at night, followed by a 21-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matured on its lees for 100 days, exclusively in steel.

So viel Frucht und angenehme Säure. Der sticht einfach raus. Sehr gelungen

Frisch, mineralisch, genau mein Geschmack!
Wirklich ein außergewöhnlicher Wein zu einem günstigen Preis. Schmeckt nach viel mehr als er kostet. Sehr schöne Komplexität mit langem Abgang.
