The Keermont Merlot shines with a royal deep red color and enchants the palate with a complex bouquet of ripe strawberries, enriched with delightful nuances of dark plums, cherries, fragrant cigar boxes, and a touch of cinnamon. The 2021 vintage is set to stand out, presenting a soft, pure, and elegant mouthfeel. Spicy red fruit intermingles with hints of spices, dried herbs, and mixed dark berries. Silky, chalky tannins and a natural acidity create a fresh elegance, culminating in a long, juicy, and pleasantly dry finish. A remarkable pleasure!
Das Traubengut für den Keermont Merlot wurde bei optimalem Reifegrad handgelesen und separat vinifiziert. Der Fermentierungsprozess fand auf ungemein schonende Art und unter minimalem Eingriff in die natürlichen Prozesse in offenen Fermentern und unter Zuhilfenahme traditioneller Methoden statt. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 27 Monate lang in Fässern aus französischem Eichenholz, bevor er ohne Filterung und ohne Verfeinerung von Hand auf die Flasche gefüllt wurde.
