The Erika O Syrah captivates with a diverse aroma profile of dark fruits, cocoa, and cassis, complemented by salty licorice, spicy pepper, and herbal fynbos nuances. On the palate, this extraordinary cool-climate Syrah showcases an impressively complex structure crowned by an elegant and multi-layered mouthfeel. Its silky and refined finish offers a lingering pleasure that highlights the finesse and elegance of this Stellenbosch wine.
Dieser preisgekrönte Syrah fermentierte in offenen Eichenfässern, wobei der Tresterhut drei- bis viermal täglich untergetaucht wurde. Nach Abschluss der Gärung reifte der Wein 14 Monate lang zu 15% in neuem Eichenholz, während die restlichen 85% in zweit-, dritt- sowie viertbefüllten Fässern reiften. Anschlieβend wurden die Weine verschnitten und auf die Flasche gefüllt.
