With a gentle straw color, the Idiom Bianco di Stellenbosch entices the senses with a captivating bouquet of aromatic lime zest. Its elegant palate delivers delightful layers of green melon, pear, citrus zest, and stone fruits. This remarkably fresh wine showcases exquisite structure and balance, representing a superb example of premium South African Pinot Grigio.
Die Trauben für diesen Pinot Grigio wurden über Nacht im Kühlraum gelagert, bevor sie entrappt und zerquetscht wurden und es zur Presse ging. Der erste Saft der Pressung wurde separat vom darauffolgenden Saft gehalten. Nach einer dreitägigen Ruhephase bei 11-14 C◦ wurde der Saft mit einer sorgfältig ausgewählten Hefekultur versetzt. Die Fermentierung fand bei konstanten 14 C◦ statt und dauerte um die drei Wochen an. Der Wein wurde vor Abfüllung auf die Flasche noch leicht verfeinert und gefiltert.
