Exuding a brilliant straw color, the Mullineux Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc offers an enticing bouquet of ripe pears, perfectly balanced with delicate mineral undertones. Its lively acidity is complemented by a velvety mouthfeel and hints of herbal complexity on the palate. The finish is delightfully fresh and mineral-rich, making it an exceptional choice for pairing with a variety of dishes.
Die Trauben wurden handgelesen und im Kühlraum ohne Entrappung als ganze Trauben gepresst. Als einzige Beimengung während der Herstellung des Weins werden dem Traubensaft vor der Gärung 20ppm SO2 (Schwefeldioxid) zugegeben. Das entspricht 0,002%. Die Gärung kommt spontan mit den im Keller vorhandenen Hefen in Gang und dauert bis zu sechs Wochen an. 85% wurden im Stahltank ausgebaut, der Rest in fünf Jahre alten Fässern aus Französischer Eiche.
