The Catherine Marshall Riesling represents a South African take on the esteemed Mosel style, shaped by the cooler climate of the Elgin region. This wine entices with a bouquet of refreshing lime zest and crisp apple, finished with delicate notes of honey and beeswax. Its lively acidity creates a perfect balance, harmoniously blending with the fruity sweetness on the palate, supported by the wine's mineral backbone. The finish is robust and enduring, leaving a sparkling essence reminiscent of fizzy candy.
Das handgelesene Traubengut wurde bei Ankunft in der Kellerei per Hand sortiert und gepresst und der Most einer zweitägigen Ruhephase unterzogen. Anschließend wurde der Most mit ausgewählten Hefen versetzt und temperaturkontrolliert bei kühlen 14˚C für einen Zeitraum von 26 Tagen fermentiert. Der Wein wurde vor Abfüllung auf die Flasche noch leicht verfeinert und gefiltert.
