Das Traubengut wurde in den frühen Morgenstunden per Hand gelesen und je nach Anbaulage separat in Tanks aus Edelstahl fermentiert. Jeder Tank wurde zunächst einer zwei bis drei Tage langen Kaltquellphase unterzogen, bevor er mit ausgewählten Hefekulturen versetzt wurde, um den Gärungsprozess in Gang zu setzen. Nach Abschluss der Gärung fand auch die malolaktische Fermentierung im Stahltank statt, wo der Wein anschließend mit französischem und amerikanischem Eichenholz reifte. Ein kleinerer Anteil des Weins reifte in drittbelegten Fässern aus französischer Eiche.

Toller Pinotage
Nicht zum letzten Mal bestellt. Ich war nie großer Pinotage Fan, aber der hier hat mich überzeugt. Schmeckt sehr gut.

Trockener typischer Pinotage
Typischer Pinotage , beerig, trocken, 14,5% , sehr wuchtig. Duftet nach Beeren und Fass. Für den Preis perfekt auch für nicht Kenner zu genießen. Perfekt zum roten Fleisch.
