The Bosman Generation 8 Merlot captivates with its vibrant violet core bordered by a ruby hue, enchanting the senses with an inviting herbal bouquet of blackberries and plums. Secondary notes of dried herbs, fynbos, and cocoa enrich the overall profile. This wine displays a medium body and a velvety mouthfeel, where ripe red and black fruits beautifully unfold, accompanied by subtle mocha hints. Soft, rounded tannins and harmonious acidity ensure a balanced tasting experience.
The cooled grapes were meticulously hand-selected post-destemming. During fermentation, the cap was regularly submerged to achieve optimal color and aromatic concentration. Following alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation took place with contact on French oak. The wine matured for six months in barrique barrels.
