The Bosman Generation 8 Merlot captivates with its vibrant violet core bordered by a ruby hue, enchanting the senses with an inviting herbal bouquet of blackberries and plums. Secondary notes of dried herbs, fynbos, and cocoa enrich the overall profile. This wine displays a medium body and a velvety mouthfeel, where ripe red and black fruits beautifully unfold, accompanied by subtle mocha hints. Soft, rounded tannins and harmonious acidity ensure a balanced tasting experience.
Das gekühlte Traubengut wurde nach dem Entrappen mit großer Sorgfalt handverlesen. Während des Fermentierungsvorgangs wurde der Tresterhut regelmäßig untergetaucht, um ein Optimum an Farbe und Aromenkonzentration in den Wein zu übertragen. Nach Abschluss der alkoholischen Gärung fand die malolaktische Fermentierung mit Kontakt auf französischem Eichenholz statt. Der Wein reifte sechs Monate in Barriquefässern.
