The Boschendal Chardonnay Pinot Noir features an intriguing blend marrying the best of both varietals. With part of the Chardonnay aged in barrels, this wine displays a robust structure and richness, showcasing delightful aromas of ripe stone fruits and delicate pear. The Pinot Noir enhances the blend with a fruit-forward character and elegance, revealing distinct notes of ripe berries accompanied by a hint of spice. This wine, sporting a soft rosé hue with gentle copper highlights, stands out as a unique offering. Das Traubengut für den Boschendal Chardonnay Pinot Noir wurde in den kühlen Morgenstunden gelesen, um später einen knackig frischen Fruchtcharakter im Wein zu erhalten. Nach dem Pressen der Beeren und einer Ruhephase des Safts, fermentierten 80% des Chardonnays in Tanks aus Edelstahl, während der restliche Anteil in Holz ausgebaut und acht Wochen auf der Hefe ruhen gelassen wurde. Der Pinot Noir fermentierte bei erheblich kühleren Temperaturen, um so die zarten Aromen roter Beerenfrucht im Wein zu bewahren.
