Vineyard Boland Cellar
Boland Cellar is situated on the northern side of Paarl and remains closely connected to the growers who supply its grapes. Rather than relying on a single estate vineyard, the winery sources fruit from a wide network of partner farms. This approach allows the winemaking team to work with grapes grown in a broad range of microclimates.
Approximately 1900 hectares of vineyards contribute to the cellar’s production each season. Sites extend across several well-known districts of the Coastal Region including Paarl, Swartland and the Berg River Valley. Soil diversity, altitude differences and maritime airflow create varied ripening conditions that shape the character of the wines.
Inside the cellar, grapes are handled according to their origin and intended style. Some parcels are fermented individually before blending, while others are crafted into varietal bottlings. Modern equipment and experienced winemakers ensure that fruit quality remains the focus throughout the production process.
