Product information "Alvi's Drift Signature Chenin Blanc 2024"
In a straw-coloured gold tone and almost viscous consistency, the unwooded Alvi's Drift Signature Chenin Blanc presents itself with a wonderful mouth feel and creamy texture. The acidity is well integrated, the wine is well balanced. On the palate it shows unusual density and length for an unwooded wine. Primary fruit aromas of white peaches and nectarine dominate the nose and can also be found on the palate. A rare combination of intense fruit, complexity and length!
Harvested by hand in the early morning hours, this wine flows in the cellar only by gravity. The use of pumps was completely avoided. Spontaneously fermented and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks, it matured on the lees for five months after the end of fermentation and was regularly stirred (batonnage) during this time to give it its creamy texture.
