The Zonnebloem Shiraz 2022 enchants with deep garnet color and an inviting bouquet of traditional spices, black pepper, lavender, and dark berry fruits. On the palate, it reveals luscious juicy notes of ripe plums that culminate in a spicy and floral finish. This remarkable Shiraz boasts a medium body, blending dark fruit, aromatic mint, and firm tannins while showcasing a classic dry style.
Das Traubengut unterschiedlicher Weinbaulagen wurde separat vinifiziert. Jeder Tank wurde einer ausgedehnten Kaltquellphase von 3 – 5 Tagen unterzogen mit anschließender Fermentierung bei regulierten 26°C. Nach 10 – 12 Tagen Gärzeit wurde der Wein nach Abschluss der Fermentierung von der Haut gepresst und es folgte die malolaktische Gärung im Fass. Anschließend reifte der Wein in einer Kombination aus neuen sowie zweitbefüllten Fässern aus französischer Eiche.
