The Van Loveren Rhino Run Chenin Blanc masterfully balances fruity characteristics with a gentle oak influence. Das Traubengut wurde in den frühen Morgenstunden handgelesen. Nach Abschluss der alkoholischen Gärung auf 100 % Eichenholzstave, reifte der Wein noch weitere fünf Monate mit Holzkontakt, bevor er frisch und fruchtbetont auf die Flasche gefüllt wurde. Um einen Wein ohne Schwefelzusatz herzustellen, verwendet die Rhino Run-Reihe ein südafrikanisches Tannin, das aus der endemischen Honeybush-Pflanze entwickelt wurde, die nur in den südwestlichen Gebieten Südafrikas wächst. Die Honeybush-Pflanze enthält natürliche Antioxidantien, die bei richtiger Anwendung zum Schutz des Weins beitragen, ohne dass zusätzlicher Schwefel zugesetzt werden muss
