The Tokara Shiraz pours a deep plum-red, evolving into an intricate bouquet of dark plums, ripe blackberries, and wild berry nuances, complemented by delicate notes of red and black fruits draped in subtle spice.The palate is lush, presenting a smooth fruit flavor, layered with red fruit aromas and an elegant herbal touch. Juicy and vibrant on the mid-palate, this remarkable Shiraz culminates in a dry finish, revealing lightly chalky tannins. Its flavor profile is both rich and concentrated, yet refreshingly bright.
Nach der Lese wurden die Trauben handsortiert und gequetscht. Die spontane Gärung erfolgte in Edelstahltanks sowie in Holz. Die malolaktische Fermentierung erfolgte in Holzfässern, wonach der Wein 15 Monate lang in Fässern aus französischer Eiche reifte, von denen 10% Neuholz und der Rest Zweit- bis Fünftbefüllung ausmachten.
