The Tokara Reserve Collection Syrah shines with its deep violet color and ruby rim, enchanting with a complex bouquet of ripe blueberries, blackberries, and subtle hints of figs and black pepper. Stunning aromas of cedar wood and licorice blend harmoniously with floral notes of violet, creating an inviting aromatic profile. The palate is luxuriously silky and sophisticated, showcasing robust dark fruit that leads into a pleasantly smooth and slightly chalky finish, accented by a note of pepper. Hailing from Tokara's steepest and most rugged terroir, this Syrah delivers an expression of its origin, producing a remarkably distinctive wine.
Diese Trauben werden von Hand aus einem ertagsschwachen Weinberg gelesen. 25 Prozent der Trauben werden ganz in den Tank geladen, der Rest enstammt und zerkleinert. Die spontane Gärung fand in einem aufrechetem Foudre statt und der Wein reifte nochmals zehn Monate auf der Hefe und weitere 11 Monate in Barriquefässern vor dem Abfüllen.
