The Oceanside Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot from the Winery of Good Hope captures the maritime essence of the South African Coastal Region. Its bouquet delights with aromas of ripe red fruits and cherries, harmoniously intertwined with hints of Fynbos. The grapes for this wine were hand-harvested at dawn. In the winery, the selected grapes were crushed and destemmed, then placed in separate fermentation vessels. The mash underwent a five-day cold soaking to extract maximum fruit, color, and flavor. Fermentation lasted 10 to 12 days. Forty percent of the wine matured for ten months in French oak barrels, imparting fuller tannins and depth to the palate. The portion aged in stainless steel tanks enhances the wine's brilliant fruitiness.
