Situated on the northernmost hills of the Devon Valley in Stellenbosch, Stellenview Premium Wines is situated in a unique location, famous for producing wines of outstanding quality and elegance since 1659. Under the direction of cellar master, entrepreneur and marketer Reino Kruger, handcrafted and highly endowed wines are produced here, which with remarkable attention to detail bring promising enjoyment worldwide, bottle after bottle. The extensive and diverse portfolio of Stellenview Premium Wines is regularly awarded with prizes and recognitions and the handcrafted wines find their full expression in appealing labels and stylish interiors that are primarily inspired by South African wildlife, including the Cape Five Reserve Range, Great Five Reserve Range and Kruger Family Reserve Range. At 270 metres above sea level, the Devon Valley has some of the highest vineyard sites in Stellenbosch. The vines that thrive here enjoy concentrated sunlight and benefit from optimal drainage of the soil. These growing conditions favour a lower harvest yield with small berries, but which are full of flavour, aroma and character. It is not for nothing that the Devon Valley produces some of the best Cabernet Sauvignons, Merlots, Pinotages and Sauvignon Blancs of the Cape.
