The Stellenview Kruger Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 showcases a captivating dark red color with a vibrant cherry core. The nose entices with an enchanting bouquet of fine vanilla, summer herbs, and ripe blackberries. On the palate, the previously noted coconut harmonizes beautifully with aromatic blackcurrants, delivering exquisite flavor dimensions. This exciting Cabernet Sauvignon finishes fresh, supported by a fine tannin structure, and concludes with a long and juicy aftertaste.
The grapes were hand-harvested in the early morning and fermented in stainless steel tanks based on vineyard origin. Each tank underwent a cold soak for two to three days, before being inoculated with selected yeast cultures to initiate fermentation. Following fermentation, malolactic fermentation took place in the stainless steel tanks, and the wine was aged in French barriques for 12-24 months.
