The Steenberg Chardonnay 2023 captivates with a multifaceted bouquet of honey, fresh Golden Delicious apple, butterscotch, and delicate pastry. The grapes were gently whole-bunch pressed to ensure optimal fruit extraction. The Chardonnay then fermented and aged over a total of six months, with 50% in new 225L French oak barrels and 50% in older, previously used larger French barriques. Finally, the two components were blended in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
