The Yellow Wood Organic Rosé represents a perfect balance between enjoyment and eco-friendly practices. Produced from organically cultivated Shiraz grapes at Spier, this rosé showcases an irresistible bouquet of berry, rosewater, and vanilla, accented by an invigorating acidity.
The organically grown grapes are handpicked in 8kg crates during the early morning hours and then cooled in the cellar before meticulous sorting. No skin contact is employed, and throughout the winemaking process, a low-intervention approach is pursued. The juice ferments in stainless steel tanks to preserve classic fruit freshness, and the wine is aged on its lees for three months to enhance its structure before bottling.
