Information about "Savage Follow the Line Cinsault 2024"
The Savage Follow the Line Cinsault captivates with an enchanting bouquet of rose and cherry blossoms, dried lavender, and fresh red summer berries, accented by a whisper of pepper. Earthy undertones and raspberries, together with herbal Fynbos, add further complexity. On the palate, this wine showcases impressive clarity and pure fruit, supported by vibrant, fresh acidity and juicy red berry nuances. The finish is exceptionally long, boasting brilliant finesse. Made from 41-year-old bush vines, with 6% co-fermented Syrah for enhanced complexity.
This elegant wine (89% Cinsault, 11% Syrah) underwent malolactic fermentation in clay amphorae and old French oak barrels (500 L) after stainless-steel tank fermentation. It matured for ten months in larger oak foudres (1500 L – 2000 L).
