Information about "Sadie Family Rotsbank 2024"
The Sadie Family Rotsbank is a single-varietal Swartland Chenin Blanc and offers fascinating aromas – initially flint and seaweed, followed by tropical passion fruit notes. A hint of green tea runs through the palate and ends with fine, drying tannins. The wine is characterised by its remarkable length and elegance. Although initially reserved and closed, its expression improves significantly after opening and aeration. It is a very linear and powerful interpretation of Chenin Blanc.
Treatment in the cellar
The grapes were pressed whole bunch and the juice was transferred to old barrels for fermentation, where the wine matured for 12 months.
