A lively garnet hue, the Rust en Vrede Estate Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon enchants with fragrant notes of ripe plums, dark chocolate, pencil shavings, and cedarwood, epitomizing the exquisite complexity of Helderberg's terroir. The palate showcases a remarkable balance of fresh acidity and robust tannins, making each sip a delightful experience. Cherry notes emerge on the palate, harmonizing seamlessly with flavors of cassis, blackberry, mocha, and a hint of dried herbs.
Hergestellt ausschließlich aus Trauben aus eigenem Anbau, die von Hand gelesen und sortiert werden. Die Ernteparzellen und Klone werden separat vinifiziert. Die geernteten Trauben werden entrappt, zerkleinert und in offene Gärtanks gepumpt, wo sie eine 21-tägige Mazerationsphase durchlaufen, einschließlich einer sieben-tägigen Gärung mit2-4-mal täglichem Umpumpen und manuellem Unterstoßen. Fassreifung in 100 % französischen 300-Liter-Eichenfässern (20 % neue Eiche) für 18 Monate.
