Rijk's Chenin Blanc Reserve 2024 delights the senses with its rich golden color and a captivating bouquet of ripe nectarines, fragrant peach blossoms, juicy melon, and subtle honey notes. These flavors seamlessly blend with delicate spiced oak hints, providing a beautiful structure on the creamy palate. This full-bodied wine finishes with an exotic, sweet-sour aftertaste that leaves a lasting impression of elegance, finesse, and complexity.
The grapes were meticulously harvested and pressed. The juice fermented 40% in new, 40% in second-fill, and 20% in third-fill French and Hungarian 300-liter oak barrels. The wine underwent a spontaneous fermentation of 50%, with the other half using selected yeast cultures. After 12 months of maturation, the wine was blended and bottled.
